Week of October 31st- November 4th

HALLOWEEK!

We had so much fun with our Halloween carnival and festivities this week! Thank you to all the parents who came out and helped our classroom with all the fun! We loved going around trick or treating to each classroom, to the office, and even to the parish offices! The carnival games were a blast and we all loved the temporary tattoo stations! We all got a little messy and full of sugar with the cupcake and cookie decorating! Can't wait to do it again!

Our Five Senses

This week we began to explore our five senses! We did a fun activity with popcorn where we were able to use all our five senses and explore the look, taste, texture, smell, and what we heard when the popcorn was cooking! Here is one of the songs we listened to this week that helped us explore our senses! Ask your child if they can remember and tell you about each of the senses!

One of our favorite things to do in Room 2 is play outside! We love running around, riding the "fast bikes" and playing with our Room 1 friends!

Room 2 had a very fun and eventful week! Some friends got to experience Halloween twice this week! We have started our new unit this week with the story La Tortuga! We will begin creating our books and doing fun centers next week! Don't forget we have parent teacher conferences next week and NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY due to Veteran's Day! We look forward to seeing everyone next week! Have a great weekend!
