Week of February 27th - March 3rd

                    Dr. Seuss Fun!

We had an exciting week celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America day! We read a silly Dr. Seuss book everyday and did a fun art activity to go along with it!

“You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.”
-Dr. Seuss

Centers this week!

Our centers this week were inspired by our "Dr. Seuss" stories! We used a graph to graph our colored goldfish. This was a fun way to practice our sorting, counting, patterning and graphing skills! The children had fun playing our “Fish Bowl” game! This game helped us practice our counting and number recognition. The children also enjoyed the “Stack the Cat's Hat” game.  This is a fun Cup Stacking activity that is excellent for building language skills and social/emotional skills as the children work together.

We attended a wonderful Mass given by Fr. Adrian in honor of ASH WEDNESDAY!
