Dear parents, welcome to our new website and Blog experience!
We will use this avenue to communicate all of the exciting things that are happening in Room 3!
As always, if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This week in Language Arts we wrapped up our story, "The Three Bears". (Be sure to ask your children about the concept of 'small, medium, and large' and see if they can find examples in your home to reinforce this concept.).
We also started our next exciting book which is "La Tortuga".
We started the Fall Season with new jobs for the children as well as new decorations to celebrate the changing season.
Having seasonally appropriate jobs and materials is a key part of our curriculum in Room 3. It keeps the children interested and constantly looking for new things to try!
Our CPK fundraiser was a BLAST! It was great to see so many smiling faces enjoying the pizzas we made!
This is a great and popular fundraiser for the school. If you couldn't make this one we will have other opportunities throughout the year so stay tuned!
Deacon Melecio stopped in this week to perform a blessing of the pets.
What a great way to reinforce the importance of bringing God into our everyday lives!
Last but not least, the children created their 'Spookley the Pumpkin' Halloween decorations!
We had a great week in Room 3! Another great activity this week was our Parent Board sponsored in house field trip. Courtney Campbell was our guest singer. Ask your children what Mr. Camel needs to do. ( Blow Your Nose). Make sure to talk to your children and show them that you are interested in what they are doing in class! It will help to drive their enthusiasm throughout the day and they will look forward to sharing with you all of the new things they are learning!
