Room 3 News Week of 5/8-5/12

We had a very busy and productive week.

We started our week by finishing up our storybook story, "The Tug Of War".  The children truly enjoyed the story.  They learned about a clever turtle and her jungle friends.

This week we celebrated "Mother's Day". The children worked so hard on different Mother's Day activities.

We had an invitation from our friends in room 2 to watch them release their butterflies.

Releasing of the butterflies. Ms. Chyanne helped the butterflies venture out into their new world.

In this picture we are seen here dancing and shaking our heavy cream into butter.  The children enjoyed shaking and dancing.

Our Open House was a success.  Children and parents alike enjoyed eating the fresh butter we made.

Thursday we had a wonderful " Mother's Day" celebration.  The children sang and enjoyed some refreshments.  Our moms work so hard, it was a honor to host an appreciation brunch for all of our moms.

The children gave a flower to Virgin Mary,as part of May Crowning. Thank You parents for your participation.  Our 1st May Crowning was received with enthusiasm.  We hope we can continue this tradition in the future.

On Friday we ended the week with our May Crowning.  We recited the rosary and processed to the church as a whole group.

Thank You to all of our wonderful moms!

May God Bless You and Happy Mother's Day!!!
