:::::: Week of January 8th - January 12th ::::::
Happy New Year & Welcome back to school! Can you believe we are almost half way through the the school year? We continued with the letter "Ee" this week. We also learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and we read many books about all he did for us. On Monday we did a Direct-a-cut which are on display in the hall... Check them out on the bulletin board!
Tuesday was Mrs. Meyer's Birthday! We celebrated after lunch by singing to her and eating ice cream cake. We ALL enjoyed it!
Tuesday we had indoor recess due to the rain. We recorded the children dancing. It was so cute we had to share.
On Thursday we visited our Study Buddies. We had a scavenger hunt and looked for items using positional words, and they had to draw them on their paper. They really had so much fun and reinforced many skills.
We recorded a little bit of what we do for morning business. Here we are reviewing what we know about money.
Friday we had our first Word Wall Word test. We posted the students who received 100% on the bulletin board outside the classroom. Congratulations to everyone who received 100%. Next week there will be four more words to add to the list.
