How much do you know about the penny; what color is it, what shape, who is on it, what number president is he? What about the nickel? Ask your kindergartner because they can tell you.
Que dia es?
Not only are we learning the date in English, but we started writing it in Spanish this week. We will begin our Spanish lessons in two weeks.
We ask the students to think about the next number. What number will it be? Will it be red or black? Our number counter gets to make a prediction. We will have to wait till tomorrow to see if they're right.
Let's Meet Cass!
She loves to cook and has a cat named Coconut. Cass is helping us learn about the letter C.
Our "stumpers" included; Cake, Crystal, Can, Cross Clown Fish, Cookie Cutter, Credit Card, Cat Stuftie, Cucumber, Colored Pencil, Car, Catapilar, and Cotton Candy.
We are starting Math this week. We are working on Sorting and Classifiying.
Clean Clean Clean!
We are cleaning our desks every day. We do a great job cleaning, drying, and organizing. It's a nice feeling to know that when we come to class each morning our desks are going to be squeaky clean.
Get Outside and Play
At least 60 minutes a day of outside play is recommended for kids. Are your kids getting enough time? Take your kids outside this weekend; kick around a ball, ride a bike, or play in the park. Release your inner child... IT'S FUN!!!
The second week of school blew by, I can't believe its over already. The kids are doing a great job settling into our new routine. Thanks for taking the time to check in on our week.
Are you ready?
What did the left eye say to the right eye?
-Between us, something SMELLS!
hehehe. See you next week.
