Kindergartners are checking out all the cool stuff in their new classroom.
First Day of School
Our Classroom Rules
We came up with our own Class Rules.
The Kissing Hand
We start our year off with the Kissing Hand. It helps us remember it’s okay to be nervous and that we are loved.
Watch Me Grow!
As of August 19th, our class is 75 feet, 9 and 1/4 inches tall.

How Many Books Have We Read?
Every time we read a book we color in a square. Check out our book chart on the back of our classroom door.
Doing Our Part To Keep Our Classroom Clean
At the end of everyday we clean our desks. We are trying to teach our Kindergartners how to keep their area and their selves clean. We try to stop the spread of germs by learning about personal hygiene. Please make sure your child is using the Dracula cough cover and washes their hands EVERY time they put their fingers in their mouth.
Hard At Work
Let’s Get Vertical
Helper Of The Day
Our Helper of the Day has a big job! They come up and do morning business including calendar, counting, and money. They also get to be line leader and prayer monitor. Everyone wants to be helper of the day so make sure your child arrives on time everyday so they have the opportunity to be picked.
Singing Songs With Father Riz
Learning To Care For Others
On Fridays we go to church. If you bring a dollar you have the choice to put it in the poor box or light a candle and pray for someone. We all sit around the carpet and talk about where we want to put our money.
Saying Our Prayers At Church
Each month in Kindergarten we learn a new prayer. We start with the Our Father. We pray this everyday in class and in church on Fridays. Please say the Our Father with your child every night during bedtime prayers.
Well it’s time to wrap up our first week of Kindergarten. I just want to thank you on behalf of myself and Angela for raising such wonderful children. Its truly a pleasure to spend the day with them.
And now, get ready to laugh your pants off
What did you learn in school today?
-Not enough, I have to go back tomorrow!
That’s all for now, see you next week.
