The Fundraising Chairs of the Parent Advisory Board would like to send off a warm and welcome message:

Dear St. Peter Claver School families:
Thank you all so much for your contributions of items, time, talents, and heart that many of you gave freely to help our 2016 Casino Night and Silent Auction be a huge success! We are truly blessed to have such a warm and caring school community full of love for our children and wonderful teachers. Amazing Advent

The children practicing for the advent program

This year, the children did an exceptional job for their advent performance. They put a lot of work in to practicing their skits for the nativity and for learning the songs to sing. The children loved it, the families loved it, and I am looking forward to more advent shows for the future. If you purchased a DVD of the program, they should be ready to pick up in January.

The last week in December

The last week of school, I felt very fortunate to be able to swing into all of the classrooms and watch how each class was able to celebrate Christmas.  The essence of family rang through the halls, filled the air, and each class had a sense of warmth and happiness. What a great way to end the year. The children left the school with smiles, thoughts of wonderment for Santa, and the celebration for Advent.

The teachers and I would like to thank all of you for the warm Christmas wishes, cards and gifts, but the most rewarding gift of all is raising such awesome children that we get to work with everyday.

Things to come in January

  • Emergency Drills: The Fire Marshal came for a routine inspection. We are cleared for another two years! The only request is that we maintain drills. Thus coming in January, we will be practicing our drills. The goal really is once per month. From our last practice, parents requested that they be informed of when drills happen. I do not have any date set as of now, but more details to come when school resumes.

  • Food Fundraiser:

  • Mother's Night Out!: Color Mi Vino, located in the Target center at 2955 Cochran St. Simi Valley. Friday January 20th from 7-9pm. Ticket cost is $35 and our school gets 25% of all tickets sold or frames purchased (frames are an additional $10). We will be doing an oil painting of a vineyard entitled "Napa Valley". Drinks are available for purchase at $7-$9/glass but do not count toward the school profit. There are only 36 slots, so save the date and we will start an RSVP list in the new year! Please contact: fundraising@stpeterclaverschool.org

  • Re-Enrollment: Re-enrollment will begin in mid January. The date will be announced after school resumes
