Week of 3/13 to 3/17

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

This past Friday was a riot! Little Leprechauns caused mischief in all of the classrooms. Children loved seeing the chaos that the Leprechauns left behind. Some were able to get little treats or small prizes. As part of the celebration, our very own Ms. Shannon from room 2 lead a performance of traditional Irish dancing

Parent Advisory Board meeting

On Thursday, we had an open Parent Advisory Board Meeting. We had many new families that showed up to see what the PAB has been doing this year, and to hear about open positions for the next school year. We have many interested. If you would like to learn more about the PAB and all of the wonderful things that you can do for your little one's school, consider joining!

Trike-A-Thon

This week, you will be receiving your Trike-A-Thon packets. Please look out for it, and read up on all of the information about our upcoming event. This year, we will be making in house smoothies to pass out to the children once they have completed the trike-a-thon. We will need some parent volunteers to help with the smoothie prep. If you are in need of hours, please sign up at the office. REMINDER: TRIKE-A-THON WILL BE THE LAST THURSDAY AND FRIDAY OF APRIL (27-28)

Correction: $ Raised

In the last Claver's Chronicle, I mentioned that the money raised from the free dress and lenten supper was sent to the parish for easter baskets. I realized that there are no baskets, and the money was then sent to help out the scholarship fund.

ROOM 1: HELPING HEROS

Room 1 are setting up their little ones to be "Helping Heros". They will be working on finding food that they can bring in to donate to the pantry for the Apostle's Kitchen at the parish. If you have any food that you would like to bring in, please drop it off in room 1.

We need extra help

Our dear Deacon Melecio will be out for a temporary amount of time, and the St. Peter Claver is in need of a temporary Handyman. If you or someone you know is a Handyman, and needing work, please come over to the Parish office and talk with Father Riz. 805-526-6499

Also, we need a little extra help cleaning the classrooms. If you are available after 12:30, and are looking for hours, please come sign up at the school office!

EASTER EGG HUNT

For children 2-12, there will be an Easter Egg hunt after the 12noon mass on Easter Sunday. The hunt will be on the lawn of the west side of the church. Parents, make sure that your child has his or her own Easter Basket to hold all of their goodies from the hunt!

Enrollments

Now that the tuition is posted, please take the time to fill out the Admissions Agreement form. If there is any uncertainty or you are unsure how to fill it out, please come over to the office or send questions my way! Please turn your forms in as soon as possible so that I am able to get a number for the classes for the next school year.
