On behalf of all of the teachers, we would like to say a HUGE thank you for supporting us and the school. The teachers sure did feel special all throughout the week with flowers, class supplies, and everything inbetween. The teachers here run an amazing program, and I couldn't be more proud than to work by their side.
On that same note, our school is designed to serve the needs of our families. Similar to the practice of Saint Peter Claver, it is my responsibility to honor such a standard, and to be a listener to those who voice concerns. Although I did not hear from enough of you, I did listen to many. The need of scholarship applications rose, with the tuition increase for this upcoming school year. One parent admitted that there were too many changes in one year. I voiced to many that I did my due diligence, surveyed many similar schools near by and within the Archdiocese, made a proposal and it was approved. However, with the finance council, and the direction of Father Riz, we humbly went back to the drawing board and have revised our tuition schedule to a more affordable rate, and still maintaining close within our schools' budget.
Now is the time to take a look at the Admissions Agreement, fill out the necessary information and submit back to the office. DEADLINE is May 24th. As a promotion to get registration forms in for the next school year, we will be reducing the registration fee to $100 for current families. Any families that have already submitted their Registration fee with their Admissions Agreement will have the difference credited to their account. Please note that the Summer Guide Pricing has changed to match.
Within the next few weeks, I will be working on finishing up the Claver Cares Scholarship application. Once it is finalized I will announce it's availability.
:::::OTHER HAPPENINGS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK:::::
Beyond Teacher/Staff appreciation week every class has been picking up momentum since returning from our Easter Vacation.
On Tuesday, families enjoyed some delicious food at Urbane Cafe, thank you again for supporting us, and once we have the totals, we will announce how much will be donated back to the school.
Room 1: Students have been working on name recognition, matching letters on noodles to the letters in their names.
Room 2: Had a donut party celebrating their awesome classroom work and behaviours in the class. Additionally they have been watching and anticipating for their creepy crawly caterpillars to hatch in to butterflies!
Room 3: The students have been diligently practicing special songs for Mother's day!
Room 4: Took a field trip to a Greg and Steve concert!
Saturday we celebrated the Mother's and Son day at Lazertag Extreme! The boys and moms had a blast running, dodging, and ducking, through obstacle courses with rounds of nerf. This is definiately one to remember!
