Week 9/18-9/22

CPK Fundraiser

This fundraiser was our best yet! CPK had never seen as big as a turnout, and did not prepare for it. Regardless, we were all there for one cause -Seth Fabry. Thank you all who brought your families, ordered lunch for your coworkers, shared with your friends and neighbors, St. Rose had a huge support. Together we raised over $600! All of that will go towards the Fabry's to help offset their hospital costs.

Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day! Friday 9/29

This upcoming Friday, let's keep the helping spirit and momentum going! We will have another $2 free dress drive. These funds will also be donated towards Seth Fabry. We would like to encourage children to wear green (his favorite color) in Seth's honor! If you boost your donation up to $5 or more, you may get a "Super Seth Prayer Warrior" wrist band!

Picture Day

Picture days for class photos, school photos, and the free dress fall was a success. Children did so well, smiling keeping their clothes clean, and keeping in excellent spirits! Parents I have a feeling that these portraits will be the best yet!

Staff Training at Sacred Heart

This past Wednesday, the staff enjoyed the drive out to Sacred Heart Catholic School in Ventura. Teachers gathered in clusters and discuss writing workshops and what that looks like in their classroom.

Next Catholic School training will be at Holy Cross. The topic of the day will be Social and Emotional Development.

Garden Clean up!

On Saturday morning from 7:30-9:30 come and help clean up the garden. We may not have enough tools for all so please bring your own shovel and gloves! Talk with Mrs. Meyer or Mrs. Enriquez for more information!

Suggestion Box

If you are a parent with questions or concerns, and perhaps feel a bit shy or not too sure how to go about talking with someone, please use that suggestion box that is located in the office to write down your concerns anonymously. Every PAB meeting, members review comments, questions and suggestions then discuss how we can be of better service.
