What makes St. Peter Claver School...

Bright smiles, well rounded backgrounds, and passion

Angela Meyer

Mrs. Meyer has been working at St. Peter Claver Preschool since it opened in 2008.  Since then, she has become the most beloved Kindergarten teacher that we have all come to know and love.  Her yellow car can be seen driving around town and she is like a movie star to her students!  She always has endless energy, an ear to listen, and a smile on her face.  The school, the students, and the parents are always her first priority.  This is why it was such a natural progression for her to accept the Principal position in December 2017.  Since then, she has been holding down the fort as not only the Principal, but has also kept her title as Most Awesome Kindergarten Teacher Ever.  Just ask her students...

God has blessed me with a wonderful family including three daughters. We have been part of St. Peter Claver since 1996 and it gives me great joy to volunteer with Childrens’ Liturgy on Sundays. I’m proud to call Simi Valley my home. I love the beautiful sky, as well as the loving, faithful and safe community.

Kim Kim

I love teaching and sharing memories with young children very much. Among the most exciting and enjoyable moments in my life is experiencing growth in young children: their bright, genuine smiles and those special moments where they are intensely focused on their favorite activity with sparkles in their eyes.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Information Science in South Korea. I have a degree in Child Development and currently hold a Site Supervisor Permit. I will have a degree in Business Administration from Moorpark College in Spring 2020. My career goals include earning a Program Director Permit and doing research in the field of Child Development. (I also hold a 6th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do!)

My favorite mottos are Fiat Lux! and Fight on!

I feel tremendously happy and blessed being a member of the St. Peter Claver Preschool & Kindergarten staff as a devoted follower of God.
