What makes St. Peter Claver School...

Bright Smiles, Well-Rounded Backgrounds & Passion

Angela Meyer

Angela Meyer

Principal

Mrs. Meyer has been working at St. Peter Claver Preschool since it opened in 2008.  Since then, she has become the most beloved Kindergarten teacher that we have all come to know and love.  Her yellow car can be seen driving around town and she is like a movie star to her students!  She always has endless energy, an ear to listen, and a smile on her face.  The school, the students, and the parents are always her first priority.  This is why it was such a natural progression for her to accept the Principal position in December 2017.  Since then, she has been holding down the fort as not only the Principal, but has also kept her title as Most Awesome Kindergarten Teacher Ever.  Just ask her students...

Clare Bushore

Ms. Clare Bushore

My name is Clare Bushore and I live in Moorpark with my wonderful husband and three kids (all St. Peter Claver School alums).

I love spending time with my kids doing the things they love, sports, dance, and music. I received my Bachelors in Education and my Masters in Catholic Inclusive Education from Loyola Marymount University, where I also studied music.

I started my teaching career at St. Charles Borromeo school where I taught 1st grade for five years. I have been teaching on and off for the last 18 years, including being a Floater teacher in TK and Kindergarten here at St. Peter, and I am so excited to be the lead teacher in Room 2 again this year. I love working at this school and in this wonderful community, and I am looking forward to teaching your students!

Martha D’Errico

Ms. Martha D’Errico

My name is Martha D’Errico and this is my 5th year as the Transitional Kindergarten Teacher.  I graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a BA in Liberal Studies and continued credential units from Chapman University.  I have been in the educational field for 19 years, including being a Kindergarten Teacher, and Para-educator in Spanish for Simi Valley Unified School District.

I have been happily married to my husband, Joey, for 16 years and have 3 daughters. All three of my daughters, Chloe and Maryanna and Gianna are St. Peter Claver alumni and now attend St. Rose of Lima Parish School.

I have a true love for this age group and feel so blessed to be able to aid in the growth of these beautiful children. Transitional Kindergarten has been such a sweet spot for me and I see so much development happen in the lives of the children in my classroom. I look forward to seeing my students every day and work towards making sure we are meeting the needs that each child has to make them ready and successful for Kindergarten!
